Teatime Favorites
In “Beyond the Tea Bag” (January), we discussed
six different classes of tea—green, black, white, oolong, pu-erh and herbal—and asked our
readers about their favorite teas on our blog at www.energytimes.com. Here are some of their responses.

I am from the South where iced tea, not hot tea, is the beverage of choice. A glass of oolong tea with ice is my favorite. Occasionally I drink hot tea and it is usually oolong. However, I have tried most of the teas mentioned.

I enjoy most herbal teas for their soothing properties. Just the smell of chamomile for example, calms me. It’s my absolute favorite!

I love chai tea (an Indian style of spiced tea) with milk and cinnamon. This mixture seems to soothe me in stressful situations. I enjoy drinking it in the evening to help me relax before going to sleep.

I love blueberry green tea in the morning. It perks me up and feels super healthy.

Win Magnetic Jewelry

Every issue of Energy Times brings a new contest to our blog, which you can reach by visiting www.energytimes.com. The prize for this month’s issue is a magnetic stainless steel bracelet from Serenity Magnetic Jewelry. If you want to win, your blog response must include your email—otherwise we can’t contact you (your blogger screen name isn’t enough).

Our site also features Web Extras, editorial material you will find only in the online version of Energy Times. As you read this issue, look for boxes like this one; among this month’s Web Extras are a look at how diabetes can threaten your vision and a hearty, healthy artichoke casserole. In addition, you will find a Web Extra in “A Yoga Potpourri” directing you to the following question on our blog: Do you practice yoga and if so, what benefits do you get from it?
