Finding Organic Products
The article on organic living (“Home Detox,” March) was interesting. However, I have been unable to find toxin-free items.
Because the organic market is still developing, it may not always be easy to find products in certain categories.
One place to look is The Organic Pages (www.the organicpages.com); go to the Consumers Click Here link.
Making the Dinner Table a Stress-Free Zone
We often post items from our file of ETips—concise advice on health and well-being—on our Facebook page. One such tip suggested that not racing through meals might help prevent indigestion; a reader responded with the following comment. (To view ETips, recipes, current and past stories, and more, visit www.energytimes.com.)
Meals are to be savored.
Savoring is best done S-L-O-W-L-Y.
So meals are best eaten S-L-O-W-L-Y!
Our Facebook page features a Question of the Week, in which we ask our readers about various aspects of nutrition and healthy living. One recent question asked, do you go to a professional massage therapist? If so, how often and for what reason—specific problems such as chronic pain, or for general relaxation and stress relief? (Visit us on Facebook to see our weekly questions plus news items, ETips and more.)
I’m lucky enough to live with two of them! We use massage therapy all the time in our house. It’s been very beneficial for my chronic pain.
