Max7 LED Therapy

IN PATRICIA’S WORDS
It was the coldest day of the year and my skin needed some radical assistance. The lack of indoor humidity and single-digit outdoor temperatures had reduced my mid-life skin to parchment. After bundling myself in several layers of polar fleece and warming up the car for a solid 15 minutes I headed off to Dermique, fantasizing about hot towels, fragrant essential oils and a revitalizing light-emitting diode (LED) skin treatment.
Upon arrival I made a mad dash through the frigid cold to Dermique’s front door, where Suzanne Sullivan, the Spa Manager with skin to die for, greeted me. After a mild cleansing, Suzanne applied a “Zesty Orange” peel; its scent was wonderfully refreshing and my skin tingled as the enzymes worked their magic. As soothing music played softly, I drifted into relaxation. Suzanne removed the peel and then misted my face and neck with “Cherry Berry” toner. Now sufficiently exfoliated and toned, I was ready for the LED.
As the Max7 suffused my face with colored lights, I reached an even deeper level of relaxation. The transition from color to color was the essence of tranquility. Afterwards Suzanne misted me again with Cherry Berry toner, and applied a rejuvenation masque, vitamin C serum, eye cream, and green tea and copper firming cream.
When I looked in the mirror, I was pleased to see a much brighter, livelier complexion, smooth and fully hydrated. Not only did my skin appear more healthy and vibrant, my “winter doldrums” had improved. I felt totally renewed...thanks to both natural products and natural light therapy.

Step 1

Violet Light Therapy, the shortest wavelength, has a purifying action that destroys acne-causing bacteria and helps clear the skin.

Step 2
Red Light Therapy, the longest wavelength, was proven in NASA studies to increase collagen production by six times—which helps to rejuvenate skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

SUZANNE SULLIVAN, CLINICAL ESTHETICIAN, CERTIFIED LASER PROFESSIONAL
I’ve been working in this industry for 18 years, and the Max7 LED is a truly revolutionary natural light therapy for all types of skin. This is the only LED unit in the world that delivers all seven wavelengths in the visible light spectrum; it ranges from violet to red and allows the esthetician to use one color for a particular purpose or a synergy of colors for complete “skin fitness.”
Similar to photosynthesis, light therapy activates cells in the skin, allowing them to function more efficiently. Different wavelengths have different beneficial effects. For example, orange light, one of my favorite wavelengths, energizes the skin, eliminates dull complexions and creates a healthy glow. For Patricia’s treatment I chose the polychromatic setting, which targets fatigued skin.
We always administer natural exfoliants first to enable greater absorption of light and insure better LED therapy results; in this procedure we used freshly made Natural Difference botanical products.
Another Max7 advancement over earlier LED machine models is its silent robotic arm and elimination of flashing lights. This improvement removes distractions for the client and makes for a most effective healing experience with no pain or recovery period—just complete relaxation.
This type of light therapy works synergistically in conjunction with other treatments, making them even more effective. Positive changes seen in the skin from these treatments are tightening, brightening and improvement of sun damage, aging and acne.
